According to Smithsonian Magazine, “The Jetsons stands as the single most important piece of 20th century futurism.” Over the next few decades, will our advances allow us to enjoy the lifestyle promised in the 1962 television series depicting life 100 years into the future? In this talk, we will take a look at where we are today with automation, communications, and transportation, as well as where we are heading. What would George think? Greg Plum has been involved in various technology leadership roles since 2000, and currently serves as a fractional executive helping software (SaaS) founders and leaders identify various routes to market, leveraging partnerships, strategic alliances, and marketplaces. Greg volunteers with various organizations, including his alma mater, University of Delaware, regional tech interest group, Technology Forum of Delaware, and Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), currently serving on the North American Executive Council, and as the Chair of the Emerging Technology Community.
